Lifetime's Deck Box Wins "Biggest" Award

Lifetime's Deck Box Wins "Biggest" Award

Lifetime's Deck Box Wins "Biggest" Award

Well, winter is officially upon us.   Now that you finally (or hopefully) have all of your summer backyard accessories stored, did you once again find yourself running out of places to stuff all of your patio cushions and pool supplies?  Yes?  Thought so.  Well, then  it's time to stop buying yet another tiny storage container to add to your collection already cluttering your deck.  Treat yourself to a super-sized deck box instead!

Lifetime's new 130-gallon deck box is huge!  (So, quite frankly, if you've only got a tiny place you want to put a deck box, this isn't for you.)  But, don't just take our word for it.  Consumers Digest awarded the Lifetime Deck Box a Best Buy award in September 2009, stating "This unit delivers the most storage capacity of any deck box and includes the best warranty of any horizontal shed that we found.  A spring hinge keeps the lid from slamming shut - a great feature that's unique at this price."

So, there you have it.  Plus, it's strong enough to double as a bench, and it has a water-resistant seal to make sure all your stuff stays nice and dry.   Oh, did I mention it's huge and has a ton of storage space?!   (Hmmm, no wonder Consumers Digest referred to it as a horizontal shed.)

I know it may seem like an odd time of year to think about deck boxes, but it's never too early to start planning for where you're going to store all those new pool toys, floats, and noodles you're going to accumulate this summer. Plus, it could make a really cool Christmas gift if you're still searching for that perfect present for that man who has everything!

Spring Break in Port Aransas
Deep breath. Looong slow exhale. Ok, I think Im mentally ready to unwind from my spring break vacation and start writing. As much as my parents deny it, theyre becoming Ohio snowbirds. For the past two years theyve packed their mini van full and moved to Texas for the month of March. They rent a condo right on the beach in Port Aransas on Mustang Island. I am very blessed that they choose to come to Texas rather than Florida so they can spend quality time with me. Ok, who am I kidding, we all know its for the quality time with my kids, not me! :) So, last week we headed to Port Aransas for spring break week to visit my parents. Spring break at Port Aransas is well, different. I did the whole spring break trip to South Padre Island back in my college days. It was pretty much what you see when watching MTVs Spring Break showh...
Creating Additional Space in Your Home
As a real estate agent, I often hear from people who want a new home because theyve outgrown the current one. In some cases, people really do need larger homes, but other times, homeowners just need to use their propertyinside and outdifferently. In a tough economy, like the one were in, its especially important to understand that difference. Do you think youve outgrown your house, but cant afford to build an expensive home addition or move to something larger? Thankfully, there are alternatives. One significantly more budget-friendly option I recommend for people who decide to stay put (at least temporarily) is an outdoor storage building. A shed instead of a larger house? you may ask. Absolutely! A great shed, like the ones from Lifetime Products, can free up closets, cabinets, attics, garages and more for other uses. ...
We're Giving Away $700 in Lifetime Store Gift Certificates!
This giveaway has ended. This week, we asked fans on our Facebook page what product they would like us to giveaway for our final monthly giveaway of 2011. It turns out, when you make so many great products, you get many great answers! The majority of you wanted us to giveaway a shed. But, picnic tables, swingsets, raised garden beds, and tables and chairs were also voted as favorites. Oh, decisions, decisions. Sigh. Know what? Since it's the Christmas season and many of you have products from Lifetime on your list that you want to give (either to someone else or just yourself), I think it would be much more fun to give away gift certificates to the Lifetime Store so YOU can pick whatever product (or maybe even more than one) you want! So, we'll be giving away not one, not two, but THREE gift certificates redeemable in the ...
