Hey...We were on Danny Lipford!

Last weekend, we had a chance to finally see our sheds on national TV. Our shed was a featured product on "Today's Homeowner with Danny Lipford." We have had our products featured on literally hundreds of news stories and remote features, but this is the first time we have been built into the content of a show.

About Danny: Danny Lipford, a veteran remodeling contractor, is an expert on homes and home improvement. As Host and Executive Producer of the nationally syndicated television show, Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford®, Danny helps viewers keep up with the latest home trends and understand the steps and products involved with both small and large home projects.

In addition, Danny is in his eighth season as home improvement contributor on The Weather Channel and CBS’ The Early Show where he provides home tips and advice. He also has appeared on other national television shows including LIVE with Regis & Kelly and Inside Edition and has been a resource for the national magazines Real Simple, SmartMoney and others.

As a contractor for nearly 30 years, Danny speaks from experience. His friendly, reassuring manner and expert advice take some of the mystery—and fear—out of the home improvement process.

I've been a big fan of Danny Lipford for years, being the big DIYer that I am. So this was a real treat to see a guy like Danny actually use our stuff. Check out the feature and check out our sheds.

3:30 AM came mighty early
Welcome to my first blog post. This week I wanted to blog about my experience at the NATDA (North American Trailer Dealers Association) show in Dallas Texas. Sounds like a thrilling event I know but it was actually quite interesting. I was recently named Product Marketing Manager over Utility Trailer category as well as my other responsibilities of Lawn Garden Product Marketing Manger here at Lifetime. Since the trailer category is new category for me I decided that this show would give me an excellent opportunity to see first hand, under one roof, what is being offered in the trailer market. The show could have been for Lifetime tables too since many of the exhibitors were using them to display their brochures. Backfire I was so impressed and hyped up about our trailers after the show that I purchased a 5x8 Fold-Up trail...
Hobo Pies
One of my Dads traditions at the lake house is to build a campfire outside almost every night. My dad likes to eat popcorn around the fire, but when the grandkids visit, its time to break out the good ol traditional smores! After all, what kid can resist melted chocolate and gooey marshmallows smooshed between graham crackers? For a change of pace forthe kids campfiresweet treats, one night my sister-in-law introduced us all to Hobo Pies. If youve never had a Hobo Pie, youre in for, well, something different from smores. :) First of all, to make a Hobo Pie over a campfire, you need an iron pie maker, available in camping departments. Then, youll need bread and some fillings. In the tradition of pie, my sister-in-law brought apple pie filling and cherry pie filling. First, we lined up all of our ingredients on our Lifetime p...
The Lifetime kids' furniture is hitting Costco stores this week! The Kids’ Table is Now the Cool Table
I cant even tell you how excited I am about our new Kids Furniture! This is a project that the whole company has rallied around even employees cant wait to get their hands on these! The Lifetime Childrens Square Folding Table and Stacking Chairs are hitting Costco stores this week! They are absolutely perfect for homes, daycares, parties, etc. and would be great as your kids Thanksgiving Table this year. The table comes in our traditional almond color, and the cute stack chairs are available in blue, green, and almond. The great thing about our tables and chairs is that they clean up super easily. They can handle food spills, finger paints, and craft paints, coloring, etc. Another thing I love about these products is they are unique! At Lifetime, we are inventors, ...
