Inground basketball

Inground basketball hoops are cemented into the ground, rather than set on a portable base. Inground basketball systems provide rigidity and firmness, and generally take up less space than portable basketball systems.

Cement is required for the installation of an inground basketball system (allow that to set fully for 72 hours after installation before play), but once set up, a cemented inground basketball goal can provide years upon years of entertainment and enjoyment for almost all ages.

Inground basketball systems are available with free shipping from BuyLifetime.com.

Name: Joe

Position at Lifetime Products: Web Developer. What does that mean? I work with the rest of the web team to put great designs into industry standard HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET MVC, and use other techno-jargon stuff to help our customers find what they're looking for, learn about our products, and have a fun time doing it.

How long at Lifetime Products: Since November 2005

Background: You’ve always wanted to know who on earth Joe is, and even if you haven't we're going to tell you anyway! He was born in Weber County, Utah, USA. He is a descendant of Paiute (Native American) heritage and is a member of the Kanosh (Utah) Band. He is a member of various community, church, and civic organizations, and is actively involved with local, state, and national government. He is concerned with customer service and is striving to educate businesses concerning proper “consumer etiquette”. Joe is a Thawte Web of Trust Notary and is involved with seamless Digital Signatures utilizing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and similar technologies. He is a husband and father. He rides his recumbent bicycle to work every day. He enjoys gardening, houseplants, mobile computing, camping, authoring web sites, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. How does he do it all? We really don’t have the foggiest. Some have suspected he’s discovered the secrets of cold fusion, while others think he may be an android. We may never know for certain.

My favorite Lifetime Products: Lifetime Yard cart, outdoor sheds, camp tables, and picnic tables

Waterproof Tables at Swim School
My son started taking swimming lessons a few weeks ago at a new swim school that just opened by our house. I must say, for a 5-year-old he does really well! He's known how to kind of swim for several years, but we're hoping this new class will help perfect his stroke so he is proficient and completely independent for this summer's swim season. The place where he takes swimming lessons has a pretty thorough system of checks and balances to ensure each child completes the necessary skills in each level. They have an instructor that monitors the swim teacher and student during the lesson and evaluates if the skill is mastered. After the skill is mastered, it is recorded in a logbook and marked off on the child's wristband. I was happy to see when I walked in the first day that they use a Lifetime 4-foot adjustable height table...
Why Use Powder-Coating?
When approaching the idea of writing a blog post about Lifetimes powder-coating process and why it is important, I realized that I have one of the best resources for this topic. My dad, Wendell, is an engineer and has been with Lifetime Products for 15 years. About 6 years ago, he helped completely re-design our powder-coating system to make it more efficient for the company. He is an expert on this topic. So I sat down with my dad and interviewed him to find out why powder-coating is so important, what the process is, and why we use it on our metal parts. Here are some of the answers I got about our powder-coating process at Lifetime Products. Q: Why does Lifetime use powder-coating? A: Powder-coating puts a durable, long-lasting finish on our metal parts. If you are looking for a nice, paint finish, powder-coating is abou...
