Name: Joe

Position at Lifetime Products: Web Developer. What does that mean? I work with the rest of the web team to put great designs into industry standard HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET MVC, and use other techno-jargon stuff to help our customers find what they're looking for, learn about our products, and have a fun time doing it.

How long at Lifetime Products: Since November 2005

Background: You’ve always wanted to know who on earth Joe is, and even if you haven't we're going to tell you anyway! He was born in Weber County, Utah, USA. He is a descendant of Paiute (Native American) heritage and is a member of the Kanosh (Utah) Band. He is a member of various community, church, and civic organizations, and is actively involved with local, state, and national government. He is concerned with customer service and is striving to educate businesses concerning proper “consumer etiquette”. Joe is a Thawte Web of Trust Notary and is involved with seamless Digital Signatures utilizing Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and similar technologies. He is a husband and father. He rides his recumbent bicycle to work every day. He enjoys gardening, houseplants, mobile computing, camping, authoring web sites, working in the yard, and spending time with his family. How does he do it all? We really don’t have the foggiest. Some have suspected he’s discovered the secrets of cold fusion, while others think he may be an android. We may never know for certain.

My favorite Lifetime Products: Lifetime Yard cart, outdoor sheds, camp tables, and picnic tables

Shed Project Update
Ok, for those of you following my blogs, we haven’t forgot about our shed project. It just kind of got put on the back burner with summer vacations, back-to-school etc. But, we’re ready to start tackling it again. Like I mentioned before, unfortunately, we really only have one ideal place for ashed in our backyard since we have a sloped yard and lots of trees. It will be in the back corner with fence on two sides and trees on the other. If you take a look at the pictures, you can see where we plan to put it and why it’s going to be slightly challenging. We did some measuring the other day. The space we have to work with is really only about 6’ wide before we’d have to start removing trees, which we don’t want to do. A 5’x8’ shed would fit perfectly! Of course, things are never as simple as they seem with our projects. We hav...

Holiday Hoop Decor
This past weekend, my husband and I tookour kids to the Christmas Celebration at SeaWorld San Antonio. The kids love seeing all of the extra holiday decorations and special festivities. And, of course, getting pictures with Santa Shamu is always a thrill! We've actually been to the SeaWorld Christmas Celebration the past four years. It's somehow unintentionally turned into an annual holiday tradition for us. While some things like Santa Shamu and the giant Christmas tree at the front gate are always the same, most of the other displays have changed each year. This year, one of the new Christmas attractions was Snowman Village, an area featuring snowman characters resembling famous people. Guess who was the first snowman that I saw? San Antonio Spurs Basketball Player Manu "Snownobili" shooting hoops on a Lifetime Portable Ba...
