Roll It... Lifetime Fold-Up Utility Trailer Video

Sigh. So, I think I finally have my house and garage rearranged and organized to make room for all of the Christmas presents Santa brought. It was just a few things but, boy, they seemed to all be really big in size.

As you know, I LOVE hosting garage sales. So, consequently, that means I insisted on storing everything we cleaned out until we have our garage sale in the spring. Luckily, we have two big attics in our house to stash all of our junk. But, I know lots of you don't have the luxury of an attic or basement so you have to haul your stuff to a storage building, or eliminate the hoarding all together and simply haul it to Goodwill or the dump.

Oh, and I know how those multiple trips to storage buildings or the dump can get tiresome. Even a pickup truck can fill up fast. If this sounds all too familiar to you, maybe it's time to consider a utility trailer. It's such a handy thing to have around for hauling trash, lumber, furniture, etc. Wait... I know what you're thinking... you're trying to clean out your junk to make more room, you don't need more stuff. Well, don't worry. Lifetime makes a fold-up utility trailer that barely takes any space at all...29" in width is all you need. And, it's easy to fold. So easy you can do it in 90 seconds! Seriously.

A trailer that folds? Can't envision how it works or it sounds too good to be true? Check out this video I found online.

That's cool.  However, for under $400, you can get a Haul Master 4x8 from Harbor Freight www.harborfreight.com/.../displayitem.taf (and the plywood deck and slat-sides from your local lumberyard).

It takes four bolts to fold, but has nice casters to let you roll it around on-end.  I love mine...

Guy,

Unfortunately, at this time, we are no longer manufacturing our fold-up utility trailer.  I did some checking and we have no remaining inventory of this trailer in Canada, and only a few left in the US.  If we start manufacturing them again, we'll be sure to share the good news!

How Do You Move A 500lb Bouncy Castle?
A few weeks ago my little girl turned 4 years old. We celebrated with a Tinkerbell themed party at our house. The birthday girl loved the Tinkerbell cake I made, and the other party girls were thrilled with the handmade Tinkerbell fairy skirts I hid in the trees for them and the sparkle pixie dust I sprayed on each of them. But, despite my best fairy efforts, the true hit of the party was the bouncy castlethat my husband decided we "absolutely needed" to rent at very the last minute.Sigh.He was right, the kids (and some adults) jumped non-stop. If you've never rented a bouncy castle, these things are huge and heavy! When they loaded it into our truck at the rental facility, they actually used a forklift. Unfortunately, we don't have the luxury of a forklift at our house. So, how in the world did we manage to get the 500lb def...

Recreational Kayaking is Fun and Safe For the Family
Recreational kayaking is a fun and safe way for the whole family to enjoy the outdoors. Many people are a little apprehensive when they hear the word "kayaking." They imagine people dropping off of 20 foot waterfalls and paddling through big wavy rapids. But that isnt the only way to kayak. In fact, the largest segment of kayaking is within the recreational sector. What is recreational kayaking? Recreational kayaking refers to paddling on flat water lakes, bays, slow-moving calm river ways, and calm oceans. No rapids involved! Flat-water paddling is a safe way to enjoy the water. Another misconception about kayaking is the Eskimo roll, which is another aspect of kayaking that only applies to whitewater or sea kayaking. Recreational kayaks are not meant to roll and they are not designed to keep you inside if you should flip y...
