Halloween is such a fun time of year! Who doesn’t love costumes, face paint, spooky decorations – and my personal favorite – pumpkin carving?! So last night, my husband and I set out on our pumpkin carving adventure. My husband not only carves pumpkins, but he is amazing at shaving in faces, and doing all sorts of cool stuff. Over the years, he has helped me get more and more into it as well. Since I knew this was going to get pretty messy, I didn’t really want to use my wooden kitchen table, so I decided to pull out my trusty 4-Foot Fold-In-Half Lifetime Table. We live in a smaller apartment, so this is the perfect table for us. It is super easy to store and fits perfectly in our small kitchen. I also have a couple Lifetime chairs which are great for this kind of mess – while still being comfo... More

Happy Manufacturing Day! You might be wondering, why are we so excited to celebrate Manufacturing Day? Because that’s what we do! For over 25 years, we’ve worked to turn raw steel coils and plastic pellets into products each of us can use everyday! I’ve been a supporter of Lifetime for years. Long before I ever worked here. Lifetime Employees Test Drive 2012 Kayak Line
Every year, the Lifetimesales and marketing team attends an internal Sales and Marketing Conference. This year, things were a bit different. Our more advanced staff members were excited to help out as well. This was exciting for me as I love to share my love of paddle sports with anyone who will listen.or paddle. :)I discussed paddle techniques, sitting in your kayak, and the differences in kayak styles. As you can se...
Winter Composting Tips
With winter in full-swing, that does not mean you need to quit composting. Composting in the winter and cold temperatures is still possible with these helpful tips: Keep your composter in the sun as much as possible. Moisture in the compost mix is necessary but too much will freeze and slow down the helpful composting bacteria, or put these bacteria into hibernation. So, a touch dryer during the winter is better.
