Another misconception about kayaking is the Eskimo roll, which is another aspect of kayaking that only applies to whitewater or sea kayaking.  Recreational kayaks are not meant to roll and ... Our Shed Arrives!!
Its been several months since I first wrote about wanting/needing to build a shed in our backyard. Great news - you no longer have to read any more about my shed planning or problems. Why? By the way, I want to put this disclaimer out there: I was asked to write a blog post on my experience at the Semi-Annual meeting, so I did not volunteer to write this post. So here it goes: Im sitting backstage feeling a little anxious for the big event. Its Profit Sharing! It happens twice a year and Katie and I have worked hard getting presentations, videos, and everything else organized for the meeting. As I watch Katie finalize a few things on the final presentation, my adrenaline starts going. The backstage men in black, as I call them, give us the queue. Time to begin! The opening video rolls, then Richard (our President) runs out and begins his presentation. He then announces the founders wife, Kathy, will present the Humanitarian of...
