This kayak season we are stepping up our game!  Exciting right?  Most people have seen our many sit-on-top and fishing models, but this year we have gone in a whole new direction! I would like to introduce our newest member of the kayak family, the Lifetime Payette 116!  This is our first sit-inside kayak design and it is sure to knock your water socks off!  It comes in at 9’8” and is has the perfect mix of stability and speed.  The sleek design makes it a bit faster than other kayaks that are similar in length without compromising the stability you are accustom to in a Lifetime Kayak!  Think “best of both worlds”: speed of a longer kayak, stability of a shorter kayak.  The built -n seat and seat back make it comfortable while the molded-in carry handles make fo... The majority of you who entered our giveaway said you do not currently use a raised garden bed but you are interested in trying one to see how they work.  After all, saving time, money, effort and space makes gardening sound much easier! (And, with the Lifetime Raised Garden Bed Kit, you can have it assembled and ready to grow in less than one hour!)  So, for those of... More

Some of you have asked if the plastic panels on the Lifetime Raised Garden Bed contain BPA (Bishphenol_A). Good question! BPA is a plasticizer that is used in the manufacturing of PVC (Polyvinyl chloride, recycling type 3 & 7) and other polycarbonate plastics to make them flexible. It is used mostly in flexible PVC piping, toys, plastic bottles, and the lining of some canned goods. In 2008, BPA became controversial as research indicated that it may be dangerous to our health—especially to babies. The US Food and Drug Administration has now taken steps to reduce human exposure to BPA in our food supply and food containers. The good news is that Lifetime's plastic garden bed panels and the frost cover DO NOT contain BPA. They are a “Green Product”. We use high-density polyethylene plastic (HDPE,... More

This giveaway has ended.  Tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day.  And, as you know, tradition is to wear green.  But, rather than wear green, we thought it would be more fun to give something green instead.  Our Facebook fans had some really great green guesses yesterday including some we didn't even think of!  Money, green kayaks, and Earthtone playsets were all great guesses.  However, we were thinking something along the less traditional green lines… like a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed!  Ok, so maybe it's not actually green in color. (Although there is a little green on the cover. Does that count?) But, you can fill a Lifetime Raised Garden Bed with lots of beautiful green vegetables and it can help you live a more "green" lifestyle.   Ok, ok, kind of a stretch, we admi... Remember being young and banned to the “kiddie” table at family gatherings? Now with our new table, you are going to wish you were still a kid. The new  Lifetime Kids Oval Picnic Table takes all the creative features of our adult-sized tables – easy to clean, lightweight, folding for storage –  and miniaturizes it.  After all, what kid doesn't want to have stuff just like Mom and Dad's? The Kids Oval Picnic Table folds completely flat for storage. And, don't worry, moms - it looks nice so it will won’t distract from the hours spent on making the perfect table setting. We have been using our kids picnic table a lot at our house. It goes easily from the indoors to outdoors. Because it’s made of the same material as our adult picnic tables, we let the kids color... With the warm weather starting to appear, it's the perfect time to start thinking about sprucing up your outdoor living space.  Adding an outdoor eating/entertaining area is always an inviting idea.  If you don't have a lot of space, but still want to add some cozy charm to your patio, deck, or porch, our newest product is a great solution. The new Lifetime 3-Piece Bistro Set is, I think, one of our best looking tables yet. It is made from a type of polystyrene material that is strong, water- and fade-proof, looks like wood, but is not high maintenance like real wood furniture can be.  It’s a nice round table with two chairs that is great for eating outdoors on the patio. The frame is powder-coated aluminum, so it’s lightweight and won’t rust in the elements. Once winter comes back, the ... More

We have been busy over the past year developing a new shed. The new Lifetime 8'x 10' shed capitalizes on the experience we have gained from our previous sheds and brings some great new features.  If you are familiar with our sheds, you will notice the overall look of this new shed is different. One of the most noticeable differences is the shed walls now have a vertical siding look. Next difference? Windows!  We do extensive market research with customers and you told us you like windows. So, we listened to your feedback and added even more windows by putting some in our newly designed doors. Windows allow light into the shed and give it a nice look. The operable window in the sidewall allows airflow so if you are working in the shed you can stay cool. Another difference in this new shed is the roof pitch is high... More

Well, Id like to tell you about a few Lifetime employees who have taken a huge step to improve their lives by quitting tobacco... and something big that came from it. At Lifetime, we care about our employees' health. I Love My New Garden Caddy
Gone are the days of having to load up my wheelbarrow or other container with tools from the shed, only to arrive at the spot in my yard I am working on and not have what I need. You know how it isyou end up spending half of your time in the yard going back and forth to the shed to get what you forgot the first time. That is, providing you can find it in the shed. Because if youre like me, you havent organized your tools very well, either. I used to go back and forth, getting the stuff I needed before I was able to get to work. And when I was working I would inevitably set down one tool somewhere to use another, and then forget where I put the first tool. On one occasion, not exaggerating here, I was working with a rake. Two different times after I had laid the rake down, I stepped on it and had it swing up to hit me in the ...
