One of the coolest things about working for a manufacturing company is that I get to make products that people love and use in their everyday lives. Having our headquarters in Clearfield, Utah gives Lifetime the opportunity to use our products and resources throughout the community. I am always happy when we can help someone out. We recently had the opportunity to do just that. This basketball story below is from our friend Anthony, from the Department of Corrections facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. I am grateful to Anthony for sharing this experience and hope they are enjoying the new basketball system! “I bought a hoop in 2002 for our officers to use as a way to get in some exercise while at the office. We had no idea at the time it would transform into what it did. We used the hoop for some great interoffice ... More

Due to the popularity of the Lifetime Kids Dome Climber with Lifetime Facebook fans and the fact that it's sporting our patriotic colors, we're going to offer $50 off the regular Lifetime online store price during the month of July. If you're looking for something unique that you won't find in all of the other backyards in your neighborhood, you'll appreciate the Lifetime Dome Climber. Kids can't resist the fun geometric design. (Personally, I wouldn't be able to resist covering it with tarps to create a "yurt" when the kids want to sleep out on summer nights, or an "igloo" for wintertime fun.) A versatile backyard toy for day or night, summer or winter! The climbing dome is 5 ft tall, 10 ft wide, and constructed from powder-coated steel to resist rusting and ... More

Questions to Ask Yourself Before Buying A Folding Table
When purchasing a folding table, you may think that all you need is a basic structure with a flat surface, four legs, and the ability to fold flat. In some cases, you may be right, right? I think about tables and chairs a lot. Every day I talk with our Lifetime Tables and Chairs team about corner impact, leg locking mechanisms, channeling, leg deployment, and lots of other details that will make you stop reading this. All this knowledge has made me a firm believer that a very durable table with safety and convenience features will pay off in the long run. Do you remember the "old" folding tables? Let me jog your memory-- they were wooden, heavy, and clumsy. I remember carrying heavy tables made of wood or metal, with sharp metal edges below the table top that cutmy fingers. If you were alive in the 1990's and earlierand I a...
My backstage experience..
As Katie mentioned in the last post, our semi-annual company meeting was a success! By the way, I want to put this disclaimer out there: I was asked to write a blog post on my experience at the Semi-Annual meeting, so I did not volunteer to write this post. So here it goes: Im sitting backstage feeling a little anxious for the big event. Its Profit Sharing! The opening video rolls, then Richard (our President) runs out and begins his presentation. He then announces the founders wife, Kathy, will present the Humanitarian of...
