What is your favorite part of Thanksgiving? My wife’s favorite part is going shopping! I find more satisfaction in staying home, eating too much, and watching football, but, to each their own. I went one year with my wife and after I got beat by a bunch of spry and motivated ladies while trying to get some sheets, I decided to retire from Black Fridaying (is that even a word?). My goal is to help you know where you can find our products. With so many different retailers carrying our products, I wanted to help you wade through the mess. If you’re looking for a new basketball hoop, Sports Authority, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Big 5, and Walmart have hoops on sale. You can get a 50" Portable Basketball Hoop at Dick’s Sporting Goods. At Sports Authority, you can get a hoop ranging from one of our youth hoops... More

Wow! Can you believe that Thanksgiving is only one week away!? It seems like it has come super fast! Thank you for all of the responses! We had over a hundred!!! Here are a here are a few of my favorite: “These are so adorable!  Thank you for thinking outside the box and producing a child's chair that is useful, fun, and practical!” – Shara H. “We love the durability of our other Lifetime products and love that there is now an option for a kids table and chairs that will stand up to the messes and rough housing of our three little kids. The chairs look cool and super comfortable too!” –Melarie W. “So COOL!” – Clint P. “I am in love with the new kid's table and chairs! I especially love the blue and green. I've been looking for the perfect table and chairs s... More

I can’t even tell you how excited I am about our new Kid’s Furniture! This is a project that the whole company has rallied around – even employees can’t wait to get their hands on these! The Lifetime Children’s Square Folding Table and Stacking Chairs are hitting Costco stores this week! They are absolutely perfect for homes, daycares, parties, etc. and would be great as your kids’ Thanksgiving Table this year. The table comes in our traditional almond color, and the cute stack chairs are available in blue, green, and almond. The great thing about our tables and chairs is that they clean up super easily. They can handle food spills, finger paints, and craft paints, coloring, etc. Another thing I love about these products is they are unique! At Lifetime, we are inventors, we are designers,... More

Halloween is such a fun time of year! Who doesn’t love costumes, face paint, spooky decorations – and my personal favorite – pumpkin carving?! So last night, my husband and I set out on our pumpkin carving adventure. My husband not only carves pumpkins, but he is amazing at shaving in faces, and doing all sorts of cool stuff. Over the years, he has helped me get more and more into it as well. Since I knew this was going to get pretty messy, I didn’t really want to use my wooden kitchen table, so I decided to pull out my trusty 4-Foot Fold-In-Half Lifetime Table. We live in a smaller apartment, so this is the perfect table for us. It is super easy to store and fits perfectly in our small kitchen. I also have a couple Lifetime chairs which are great for this kind of mess – while still being comfo... More

Happy Manufacturing Day! You might be wondering, why are we so excited to celebrate Manufacturing Day? Because that’s what we do! For over 25 years, we’ve worked to turn raw steel coils and plastic pellets into products each of us can use everyday! I’ve been a supporter of Lifetime for years. Long before I ever worked here. My basketball hoop growing up was a Lifetime hoop. My parents always pulled out their Lifetime tables and chairs when we had a get together. That’s what we do at Lifetime. We make stuff for you to use every day! We are proud and passionate about manufacturing awesome products. Manufacturing is such an important part of American society. It is a source of millions of jobs and the products we all use every day. Today has even received some involvement from President Obama. Yesterday,... More

Every Lifetime product has its niche and purpose. Every market niche has a need. For the past two years, we’ve been designing, re-thinking, and bringing new definition to the residential tables and chairs market. And now, the first Residential-grade Lifetime chair is rolling into Walmarts across the nation. This chair is 100% made in the USA by our own Utah employees. Every piece, rivets and all, has been carefully designed and made to represent the Lifetime brand. Its purposeful blueprint has been crafted and honed to target our Walmart customer base, while also standing up for the strength and dependability of the Lifetime name. Though its convenient thin frame and residential grade look deceiving, our engineers have specifically made the design to be sturdy, strong, and it still continues to pass our WBP internal&nb... I had the very unpleasant experience recently of dumping excess lawn clippings directly into my garbage can. The can set out in the sun for a few days before I brought it into the garage. A few days later, WHOA! The can smelled like a skunk had stepped in dog doo-doo, rolled around in raw sewage, and then died in there. I was reminded once again, that lawn clippings should not go directly into the garbage can! I have a composter and do a fair amount of composting. To which, I add lawn clippings when I have brown material to balance it out. The ratio is 1 part green: 20 parts brown.  I am often asked by people who don’t compost if the compost stinks. The answer is no. That sounds strange because of the waste product that goes into making good compost, but it’s true. If the proportions of green and brown mater... More

Who will win the 2014 World Cup Final? Germany is the favorite to beat Argentina Sunday, but if you have ever watched arguably the best soccer player in the world, Lionel Messi for Argentina, I’m not so sure.  I personally wouldn't bet against a team that includes Messi. It would be like betting against the Chicago Bulls teams when Michael Jordan was still playing. With soccer and the MLS becoming more popular in the U.S.A., the World Cup this year has been a big deal in America (Did you see all the fans at Grant Park in Chicago?). The U.S. team’s first World Cup match, a 2-1 victory, was ESPN’s most watched men’s soccer game ever. The cool thing about the sport is not just that the matches involving the U.S. are getting viewers, but all matches are getting more viewers. I am personally a newbie ... More

TwoLifetime employeessubmitted some photos after levelingthe yardof their new homeusing one of Lifetimes Wheelbarrows they recently purchased. Jenn and Wes found themselvesall caught up over the weekend and thenevery day after work for a weekhauling dirt, raking out rocks, and landscaping the yard with rocks.Luckily they had a handful of willing helpers to getthe job done. We love thatLifetime Wheelbarrows have two wheels, are stable, and so easy to use, said Jen, Ourshas really come in handy. The first few days started with three truck loads of lava rock that was wheel barrowed and shoveled in to fill the curbing around the stairs and the island (This took 3 days of on and off work). And in the nextfew days they started filling in rocks under the back deck and along the side of the RV pad. We blew out the candles so it must be official Lifetime is 25 years old! As you know, we're celebrating all year long with sales, giveaways, and more. And, last Monday, we held a special 25 Year Anniversary Event at our factory headquarters in the Clearfield Freeport Center.Personally, I'm still amazed at how quickly we transformed a factory assembly line warehouse that was running on Friday into a trendy industrial meeting facility for the event on Monday. The place was decked out with product displays and live jazz music!Check out the pictures, pretty cool, huh? And, yes, it was back to an assembly line by Tuesday! Nearly 400 people attended our celebration, including Lifetime's partners, suppliers, and local community leaders. Our guests of honor included Utah Lt. Gov.
